The entrant must face the camera fully. There should be no tilting of the face in any direction.
The ID photo must include the face, neck, and shoulder areas of the entrant. No other body parts from below the shoulder are allowed to show in the photo.
The photo must have a solid, light-colored background. Patterns and dark colors for backgrounds are not allowed.
The head area should measure from between 50% to 69% (1 inch to 1 3/8 inches) in total length. The eyes should be within the area from 1 1/8 inches to 1 3/8 inches from the bottom of the photo.
Headwear of any kind is not allowed, except those which are recognized and required by the bearer’s religion. If such headwear is present, it should not obscure the facial features of the applicant.
The photo should be properly exposed and should not have any areas which are out of focus or pixilated. Underexposed or overexposed photos are not accepted, as well as those which do not show the fine facial features of the applicant clearly.
Eyewear is strictly prohibited, except those which are medically necessary.
